We redesigned the stock lower arm and installed of a coilover kit in place of the standard spring, which installs on the top of the control arm and not from underneath. Then, we specifically designed a control arm to handle the load of a coilover application. The design of the lower arm would also clean up the appearance showing off the coilover kit.
The shock plate in the arm is doubled for additional strength to accepted the load. This is ideal because the these cars almost weigh 4000lb.
Comes with bump stop just like the factory
Has stock ball joint so when the ball joint wears out you can go to any parts store and get a replacement
Works with stock spindles and drop spindles
Assemble with billet cross shafts and our Del-a-lum bushings
We increase the bushing surface area because the factory lower control arm has a lot of deflection and the bushings can not handle all the load being generated especially when you start cornering. So by increasing the bushing surface area, it will increased load capacity.
The max lowering adjustment recommended is 1-1/4 inches without running into problems with insufficient shock travel.
