These are reproductions of the factory braces that were standard equipment on all A-Bodies with heavy-duty or performance suspensions-they stiffen the chassis from the lower rear control arm forward mounting point. This triangulates this area and prevents the upper crossmember from flexing and possibly breaking. An easy bolt-in that's noticeable right away.
