Engine mounts are a vital part of your 1967 or 1968 Nova or Chevy II drivetrain. Unfortunately, they seem to fall victim to the out of sight, out of mind philosophy. Motor mounts in good condition isolate the chassis form vibrations and hold the engine securely in place during acceleration reducing the loss of torque and power. Original mounts are most commonly a sandwich design utilizing a rubber between steel plates. Lifting force on acceleration can cause the cushion to rip. Excess vibration can cause replacement solid mounts and brackets to crack and fail. DynaTech's patent-pending design is CAD precision engineered for each application. By rigorously testing the tensile and shear loads, these safety mounts are engineered to provide the ultimate protection for your drivetrain. Mity Mounts are backed by a manufacturer's lifetime warranty. Don't settle for less than the best for your high horsepower street machine.
Short Or Tall Mount? Measure from the bottom of the mount to the center of the through-bolt hole. Tall mounts measure approximately 2-3/8 inches and short mounts measure approximately 1-3/4 inches.
