Each header is formed from specially selected .049 cold roll flash controlled tubing, and features FLOWTECH's exclusive, thick, mandrel-formed Power Plenum collector. All ports are precisely fitted and finished with sturdy, leak-proof O-ringed port seals, and all FLOWTECH headers include all mounting hardware including bolts, nuts and premium gaskets. FLOWTECH headers are available with either a high-quality satin black paint finish or with a specially formulated, NASA-developed silver luster ceramic coating for rust and corrosion resistance.
Features:
  • Improved Exhaust Scavenging for Increased Performance
  • Leak Test For Max Performance
  • Ceramic Headers
  • Rust And Corrosion Resistance
  • Mandrel-Formed Power Plenum
  • Leakproof O-Ringed Port Seals
  • Include All Mounting Hardware
NOTE: Will not fit with A.I.R. injection pump. NOTE: It may be necessary to raise the automotive column cross shaft linkage by rotating the mounting brackets on the frame and transmission 180º. NOTE: Will not fit vehicles with power steering. Breaking in an engine with ceramic coated headers WILL result in damage to the coating and will VOID all warranties. Ceramic coated headers require several heat cycles to fully cure before they will withstand extreme heat. Flowtech recommends using cast iron exhaust manifolds or old headers to break in new engines to avoid coating damage. Please call Flowtech tech service at 270-781-9741 for additional information regarding ceramic coated exhaust products. The use of header wraps can cause the header tubes to crack or rust due to excessive heat and moisture build-up. Flowtech does not recommend the use of header wraps as this will void the warranty.

About FlowTech

Flowtech Performance Exhaust was founded in 1994, by exhaust market expert Gary Biggs, with the mission of delivering high quality performance exhaust at a great value. The mission was successful and in less than two decades Flowtech became the leader in value priced exhaust systems.

Flowtech cornered its place in the market with aggressive and memorable product names such as Raptor™, Terminator™, Afterburner™ and Warlock™. Flowtech even revived some names from back in the day like Purple Hornies™.

Flowtech made its mark with simple yet effective improvements like slotted port flanges giving added wiggle room during header installation. They dimpled their tubes at the port to make more room for the header bolts and they parallel ground their flanges to assure a tight seal. Flowtech innovations include their unique Afterburner headers which separated the odd firing cylinders with a velocity tube to improve scavenging. Their patented Warlock bypass muffler won the SEMA best new product award for its revolutionary open or closed design in 1996.

When Flowtech became part of Holley Performance Products in 1999, the company continued to focus on value, with an emphasis on late model cars and trucks. Headers and exhaust systems were developed for Mustangs, Camaros, and all types of full size trucks - including diesels. The same innovation continues today with the addition of universal X-pipe kits and X-pipe kits with built in cut-outs. Continuous product updates and improvements to manufacturing processes will keep Flowtech the leader in value priced exhaust systems. We hope you enjoy your Flowtech product as much as we enjoy building it!
