Rusty front fenders on your 1970-1981 Trans Am just won't cut it at the next show. Your Firebird was always meant to outshine other vehicles on the road. However, how can it do that when your classic is showing signs of wear? Your Trans Am won't get the respect it deserves with rusted, dented body panels. Fenders are heavily prone to damage in minor collisions and more often, rusting over time. Rust can creep up on your F-Body classic and do a lot of damage. Our reproduction Trans Am fenders are heavy factory gauge stamped steel and EDP coated, ensuring exceptional quality and durability. While this fender is designed for the humped inner mounting structure of the 1977-1981 Trans Am, it will fit 1970-1976 (which had a flat inner mounting surface) with modifications to the inner mounting flange.
NOTE: The outward appearance of this fender is the same for 1970-1976, but the inner mounting flange under the hood is cosmetically different than the original. On 1970-1973 Trans Ams the lower brackets for mounting the front valance will need to be retained from the original fenders and welded to the reproduction fenders in the correct location.
