All splash aprons are made from original gauge metal.
1930 splash aprons came in two pieces. One was the same length as the running board, and the nose piece was spot-welded to the front fender. This two-piece splash apron was used from January 1930 until September 1930. In 1931, Ford combined these two pieces into the one long apron.
