The paint on your C7 Corvette is beautiful with a wet shine that looks a mile deep. Over time, you can scratch and fade your paint by simply filling up with fuel. Today's fuels contain 10% ethanol and they can eat away at your clear coat over time and actually cause your stain, fade, and even crack. And, if you are ever in a hurry, gas pumps can easily bump or nick your paint. Our gas door guard protects your paint scratches, discoloration, and damage. To install our gas guard, simply attache to the bottom screw inside your filler tube area. Remove that screw, install your gas guard and re-install the screw. Installation requires not permanent modification with basic hand tools. During fueling, simply unroll the bib. When you are done fueling, roll the bib back up and close your fuel door.
