Rebuilt To Factory Specifications 3-Wire Connector Plug No Core Required Does your Chevelle decelerate or surge like a bucking bull when you set your cruise control? If so, then you might have a Transducer problem. First, check your ground. Then, look for vacuum leaks. If it still kicks or stalls when you set your cruise control, then most likely the transducer has failed. This little aluminum box sits on your inner fender is the brains in your cruise control system. When energized, the solenoid inside engages getting its signal to maintain a constant speed from the speedometer cable. Like most automotive solenoids, original transducers have a limited life of about 15-20 years and then need to be changed or rebuilt. Our transducers are rebuilt using only the highest quality materials to factory standards to insure many years of happy cruising.
