Replaces an early transmission where the emergency brake is in front of the shifter. Not for an early 1928-AR with a multi-disc clutch. The bellhousing is not included.
This new transmission's 1st, 2nd and reverse are geared 15% higher than stock gears. The synchronized 2nd and 3rd gear make driving your A a breeze. Everything is built right into an original Model A transmission case, so it will look authentic. You won't need to alter your A or get any additional parts, simply remove your transmission and install the Mitchell.
Clutch (no double clutching) and shift any time, any place and at any speed. Shifting is so smooth it almost shifts itself.
The shifting pattern is a little different than the standard Model A pattern. In that the gear change between gears is closer.
