The clutch fork takes a lot of abuse over the years by moving the throw out bearing away from the clutch over and over again literally thousands of times! Stress cracks can form on either end of the fork as well as the fulcrum pivot point which can leave you and your prized El Camino sitting on the side of the road waiting for a tow. Don?t risk it and don?t be fooled by cheap reproductions out there which are really 73-81 Camaro clutch forks (these will not work properly when installed).
