The fan clutch eliminator is a solid replacement for a stock fan clutch.
The biggest benefit of the eliminator is to prevent engine overheating caused by insufficient airflow through the radiator
Fan clutches are designed to slip, therefore reducing drag on the engine. This is to give the engine a fraction more horsepower and fuel efficiency. Fan clutches work the way they are designed to under normal conditions and when it, the radiator and engine are brand new. However, a fan clutch will start to loose its efficiency and the engine temperature will gradually start to increase to the point where the fan clutch will need to be replaced. The eliminator replaces the fan clutch and forces the fan to always turn at the same speed as the engine, therefore reducing engine heat.
The eliminator has no moving parts to wear out and will not need to be repaired.
This eliminator is 2" tall. The water pump base is 2 1/4" OD, 1 3/4" bolt circle. The fan base is 3 3/4" OD, 3" bolt circle
