As you know, the engine compartment is subjected to extreme heat andcontaminates. Aging and heat can cause plastic electrical connectors tocrack or break. The Air Conditioning Compressor Clutch ConnectorPigtail Kit is a direct replacement for a broken or damaged factoryconnector. For added protection, a clamping diode module is integratedinto the pigtail assembly. The clamping diode is needed to preventvoltage spikes. Without it, a voltage spike could cause damage toswitches, ECM or other electronic circuits. To replace the pigtailsimply snip the old wire, splice the new pigtail on and yourefinished.
