Very often the original Chevy lock cylinder may have been damaged due to improper removal from the ignition switch. This unit comes complete with a coded cylinder, the chrome bezel and 2 pre-cut keys. To remove your original Chevy ignition lock switch lock cylinder, the original key must be inserted.
